Recently I noticed some of the channels we are to get on our Cable TV package were missing.  The screen just said "this channel should be available shortly".  Well it wasn't available shortly so after several days I called Cogeco.  They did the usual by re-boosting the Recorder from their end, but this did not work.

They sent out a Technician and after making sure my plugs into the Recorder were secure he checked the connections which are in the ceiling of our units.  Mine is in the linen closet.  He replaced the connectors with new ones and voila - problem solved.  It was a quick repair and no charge.

I'm only relating this story so you will have a heads up if you start to loose some channels.  The Technician said the connectors were really OLD - 12 years is not my definition of really OLD - and I'm assuming Cogeco will be spending some more time in our building replacing everyones connectors in the near future.
