Info on the operation of the Decorating Committee for newcomers to The Gallery from Lorraine Morris.

I would like to introduce our committee, some new and some old members:

 

Chair/Treasurer:  Lorraine Morris

Secretary: Theresa Hartley

Jean Cherwaiko:  On Site Property Manager

Nancy McIntyre:  R.A. Chair/Rep

Corrie Zystra:  Member at large

Ann Bowes:  Member at Large

Manpower When Needed:  Tom Cook and Ron Javorsky who assist us with outdoor lighting and lobby tree at Christmas as well as some planting and watering.

 

Purpose: to assist our property manager with getting quotes, materials, etc 

when request come from the reserve fund to replace old furniture, carpets, and paint etc.

 

We also advise the R.A Committee of any problems that need reporting to the Board,

common areas in need of repair, furniture needing replacement and keep requesting new hall carpet.

 

We attempt to present a cheerful, clean, happy environment for our residents and their guests to  enjoy.

 

Funds:  Bennet Village pays for projects they request from the reserve fund.

Everyday expenses are dependant on the generous donations from some of our residents and committee members.We are also creative in reusing old materials and rescuing discarded plants.
