Comet A3 could be the comet of the century. Here’s how you can view the once-in-a-lifetime celestial visitor in Ontario this weekend.

Some are predicting it might be the comet of the century, with brightness that could rival that of Jupiter. 

The last time this comet was here was 80,000 years ago, during the time of the Neanderthals, notes NASA. It won’t be back for another 80,000 years – truly making this a once-in-a-lifetime viewing opportunity. 

Saturday is shaping up for a better viewing. The comet is expected to be closest to Earth around Oct. 12.

What you want to do is you want to look towards the direction of the setting sun after it’s completely set.

You should be able to see find a fuzzy point of light that has that has a tail.

It is hoped by Saturday it’ll be an object that one could see even without binoculars or a telescope.
