Halton Hills Hydro have been providing hydro bills every second month to residents instead of monthly, I emailed Hydro to enquire about the infrequency of hydro bills and received the following email in response:
"Good morning,
Thank you for your email. We are having difficulties reading a bank of the meters and must send our one metering tech to download the meter data monthly. When he isn't available (ie summer holidays) the data is delayed. We estimated the August data to get the bills out. They were underestimated and the September bills have the remaining billing data.
Our metering department is continuing to work with Golden Horseshoe metering to solve the issues. We may have to exchange a few of the meters. The meters are not our usual meters and we must wait for back ordered meter stock to replace them.
We appreciate your patience as we work with Golden Horseshoe to resolve the data issues.
