SOMETIME AROUND MAY 2021 (DURING LOCKDOWN) EVERY RESIDENT RECEIVED AN AFRICAN VIOLET ON THEIR SHELF.  

FROM CAROL DOBSON:  This was done partly by Hillsview Active Living Centre. I spent many hours at the centre putting little cards in little holders to be put in with the plants. Had to sit in a room by myself because - Covid! I believe The Flower Shed may have provided the plants. 

They were delivered to The Gallery by volunteers from the Centre and Peter Zavitz and I put one plant on every ledge. 

These were actually sent to all of the senior living buildings in Georgetown. 

ROGER AND ZYTA DAYKIN HAVE TAKEN VERY GOOD CARE OF THEIRS AND IT IS STILL BLOOMING AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.
