LOOKING FOR A NEW MYSTERY?

We have many copies of novels by all these authors in the library.

  • David Baldacci - Suspense and legal thrillers
  • Linwood Barclay - Detective novels and thrillers
  • Lee Child - Author of the Jack Reacher series. Reacher is a former American military policeman who wanders the United States helping those in need.
  • Harlen Coben - Mystery novels and thrillers with multiple twists
  • Dick Francis - ex-jockey who wrote crime novels which centred on horse racing in England
  • Sue Grafton - 25 novels featuring feisty female detective Kinsey Millhone
  • John Grisham - legal thrillers
  • Donna Leon - mysteries featuring Commissario Brunetti and set in Venice. If you’ve ever visited Venice, these novels will take you right back there.
  • Louise Penny - mysteries set in Quebec showcasing the picturesque village of Three Pines and Chief Inspector Armand Gamache.
  • John Sandford - wonderful mysteries especially those featuring Lucas or Letty Davenport
  • There is also a Good Reads shelf (around the corner) and currently there are four fine mysteries there.
  • Presumed Innocent - legal thriller with a great surprise ending
  • Orphan X - featuring Evan Smoak, the Nowhere Man. He helps those with nowhere else to turn.
  • The Dry - set in the Australian Outback
  • Gone Girl - psychological thriller full of surprises
