George William Comfort Obituary

Comfort, George William – Peacefully, on Friday January 17, 2025 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. George, in his 83rd year, beloved husband of Beverly for 17 years. Loving father of Robert (Caroline) Comfort and Anita Comfort. Step-father of Denise (Dan) Collison, Heather (Dave) Stiff and Jennifer (Kurt) Kajak. Loved grandfather of Bryanne, Tim (Jackie), Andy (Mary), Jake, Caleb, Aaron, Hannah, Elizabeth, Abigail, Ethan and great grandfather of Amylia and Liam.  Dear brother of Elizabeth (the late Keith) Reaman, Dave (Carolyn) Comfort and Rhoda (the late John) Wills. George enjoyed woodworking and was a very genuine, gentle, kind, caring and loving person with a great sense of humor. George will be forever remembered by his family for his strong faith and for the love that he had for his family and friends.

 Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Thursday January 23, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Living Hope Church, 290 Main Street South, Georgetown on Friday January 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. Funeral service can be viewed by livestream at livinghopechurch.ca Interment Maple Lawn Cemetery, Wainfleet on Saturday January 25, 2025 at 11 a.m.
