On Friday, July 24, 2026, at Mountainview Residence, Georgetown, Kevin passed away suddenly but peacefully in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Loving father of Janet (son-in-law Brian) and Colleen. Cherished grandfather of Kailynn, Niki, Kyla, and Tia; proud great-grandfather of James; and beloved grandfather to many grandfurries. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Maurice) and Rosaria. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
Kevin will be remembered for his infectious sense of humour and unforgettable laugh. Watching him laugh made everyone around him laugh, which only made him laugh harder. You never quite knew what was going to come out of his mouth next, but he always kept those around him entertained. An excellent cook, he loved preparing and enjoying a good meal. If he couldn't remember your name, chances were he had a nickname for you instead. Kevin loved playing cribbage and games with family and friends. He especially loved Mexico, one of his favourite places, where he and Dorothy spent many happy times together floating in the pool and enjoying the sun.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., with a reception to follow in the Holy Cross Parish Hall. Cremation will take place following the Mass.
